    You can either purchase your lift tickets from home in our Online Ticket Shop and pick them up at the ticket point at the valley station of the Hahnbaum T-bar lift by using the QR code that has been sent to you. Of course, you can also buy your ski pass directly on site at the ticket point.

    Hahnbaum mountain, a paradise for ski mountaineers

    A quick after-work mountain adventure or a spontaneous Sunday trip sound like music to your ears? With its proximity to the centre of St. Johann im Pongau, Hahnbaum is a popular recreation area for locals as well as guests.

    Especially in winter, athletes, nature lovers and those in search of rest and relaxation flock to Hahnbaum, for instance for a bit of ski mountaineering on the beautiful local trail. 

    Amazing ski mountaineering trail

    Starting point of the ski touring trail is Hetzenbichl platter lift. There is plenty of parking space around there and the platter lift is free! 

    From the platter lift, a moderate ascent takes you up to the mountain station of the platter lift. A 400-metre flat passage will give you enough time to get ready for the next steeper section.

    At the hight of the mountains station of the drag lift, turn right and continue through the woods up to a path winding its way up a steeper section.

    After this climb, continue along the prepared trail to a long, flat turn leading you to the finish point.   

    Tobogganing on the Hahnbaum in St. Johann

    The toboggan run on Hahnbaum in St. Johann guarantees fun for the whole family! The starting point is at the former mountain station of the old Hahnbaum chairlift. You can get there on foot through the wonderful winterworld or by taxi.  On the approx. 3.5 km long, car-free natural toboggan run, you then quickly descend into the valley.
