Tips for a smooth journey by car

Traveling by train

The ICE train station St. Johann im Pongau can be reached from many Austrian and German cities without changing trains. By bus from the train station you can get to Alpendorf at the valley station of the Alpendorf cable car in under 10 minutes.

Traveling by bus

St. Johann - Alpendorf can also be easily reached by bus.

There is also a free ski bus during the high season that runs between St. Johann and the Alpendorf district, as well as between the ski resorts of Flachau, Wagrain & St. Johann.
