A blue run, automatic timing, a photo as proof and YOU - these are the essential ingredients for this speed adventure. Register on MY PEAKS and fly down the slope. At the end you will receive a photo of yourself including a time stamp and your maximum speed by mail. That way you have it in black and white: You rocked the piste!

  • Where: Next to the Obergassalmbahn - slope no. 35 (blue) towards the top station of Alpendorf Gondola 

  • Discipline: „schuss“ – straight down

How do I get there?

The speed check piste is located on the Alpendorf side of the Snow Space Salzburg ski area. You can reach it very easily:

  • Alpendorf: Take the Alpendorf cable car and then the Obergassalmbahn. The Speed check is located on piste no. 35 (blue).
  • Wagrain: Take the Grafenbergbahn and ski down piste no. 24 to the Sonntagskogelbahn 2. At the top of the lift, take piste no. 30 down to the Strassalmbahn and back at the top, take piste no. 35 (blue).
  • Flachau: When you are at the Achterjet, take the Starjet 3 chairlift and descend on piste no. 17 to the G-Link. After crossing over the valley via the aerial tramway, take the Grafenberg Express 2 and go down piste no. 24 to the Sonntagskogel lift 2. At the top of this lift, go down piste no. 30 to the Strassalmbahn and after the ascent you are very close to the speed check on piste no. 35 (blue).
