Flachau

The World Cup destination Flachau in the Salzburg Snow Space has the winner’s gene. Hermann Maier, one of the most successful ski racers in history, was born here and the best female athletes meet on the Hermann Maier World Cup track for the legendary Audi FIS Women’s Night Slalom World Cup every year. Wagrain

The small but romantic holiday destination of Wagrain connects the Grießenkareck and Grafenberg Mountain with one of the world’s biggest cable cars – the G-LINK Wagrain. St. Johann

St. Johann, district capital of the Pongau, with its access point to the Alpendorf ski resort offers over 90% of blue and red pistes, a Family Snow Park, the Geisterberg or Devil’s Route and is one of the most popular hotspots for families and leisure skiers. Pistes of various levels of difficulty offer sporty challenges and cosy huts provide culinary experiences. The mix of town and holiday village make St. Johann-Alpendorf a very special winter sport destination.

From the highway to the piste

The location of the Salzburg Snow Space is especially attractive. Located directly at the Austrian motorway network, the seven ski resort access points in Flachau, Wagrain and St. Johann-Alpendorf can be reached in just 50 minutes by taking the Tauernautobahn A10 Motorway (exit Pongau junction or Exit 66) from the City of Salzburg. The nearest airport is in Salzburg and is less than an hour’s drive away, which makes arrival much easier for international guests.

The Salzburg Snow Space also offers winter sportsmen and women a free of charge ski bus service in all destinations, thus the own car is actually not needed locally. Anyone arriving from the City of Salzburg between 23 December 2017 and 18 March 2018 can look forward to a free of charge ski bus shuttle from Salzburg to the Salzburg Snow Space in Flachau when purchasing a ski ticket.
